“Kahan gai woh wafa; aaj toh chale aao;
 Labon pe dum hai ruka, aaj toh chale aao;

Tum khel rhe ho khushiyon se
Hum doob gye hain aahon main,
Dil todhne wale dekhke chal, hum bhi toh pade hain raahon main.

Norah jones is probably the only singer after The Legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali khan; who’s my all time favourite, her songs anytime anywhere are a big welcome for me, her tunes are an all time murmuring of my lips. It has always been a tough job for me segregating the best gems of Norah out, there are many, but I love COME AWAY WITH ME. I guess it’s the best love song may be because it relates with the originality of life and it’s direct and Music; of course how can I dare judge this multiple Grammy winning lady.

A Comment from the same you tube link explains:
“The Mashooq is sleeping with cover on the face. The implication is that the face of the lover is the shining light that is like the sun. When this sun is covered, the darkness befalls on the Aashiq. This is where the second verse comes. “Lets go home because the night is falling on the town”. The story that is related is that once Hazrat Nizamuddin was sleeping with cover on his face and Khusraw disappointed that his bright Murshad is in slumber and he missed the chance to interact with him.”
Hazrat Nizamuddin and khusrau’s Murshid-Murid relation stands at the top of the list when anyone who have heard about them discusses eternal love. An example away from the universal stereotype attached with love, it contemplates love in a different form which though projected as a different world;yet keeping the very essence of love alive.
